Fabric Destash!
Here's a little sample of what you might find there, but do go and have a look yourself, as there's a lot more than what I'm sharing here. I've tried to group things into usable colour lots, so that you can buy scrap packs to use for English paper piecing, appliqué or patchwork, or buy larger fabric bundles that will go together well when making a small throw or quilt. I hope you see something you like.
That really is the tip of a very large iceberg, so do go and have a look if you're in need of some fabric. Such a very odd feeling to destash so many years of much-loved fabric in one go - I'm hoping that they will end up in lovely homes where they're no longer trapped away in a cupboard. I'm also excited to free up some cupboard space in my own house...necessitated by a chest of drawers breaking earlier this week! We're replacing them...but with something slightly smaller!

Oh dear, despite not having sewn for months, it seems I couldn't resist!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Rachel! Sometimes new fabric is just what you need to get started again - I hope you make something lovely with them.
Deletequanti tessuti meravigliosi!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteShipping to the US makes it cost prohibitive, but, man ~ I would have loved to nab some of your destash! I recently purchased your liberty fabric stack phone cover (it makes me happy :-) and thought, if I just had a scrap of liberty so I could make a matching little pouch to corral my headphones in, that would be perfect!
ReplyDeleteThat's so lovely! I'm completely delighted that you have that cover - thank you so much! I ordered the cover with our dog, Nell, on it for my daughter, but don't have one for myself yet as my iPhone is slowly dying and so I'm making myself wait until I have my new phone (which will be taller and thinner, so won't fit in the same cover) before buying one. So lovely to think of that stack of fabric being in at least someone's handbag in the meantime though! x

Too funny!
DeleteJust got my parcel in the post today - thank you, love it :)
DeleteI'm so pleased and apologies if yours was from the batch that was posted during a torrential downpour. What had looked like a biro turned out not to be when soaked with rain and the very kind lady at the postoffice had to sellotape over all the addresses to prevent them from running any further...they were all legible, but they didn't look overly lovely! x
DeleteHello Florence. I am a relatively new follower of your blog but I shall definitely be having a look on Etsy! I love your fabric! I may refrain from mentioning it to the husband...
ReplyDeleteThat may be wise! Thank you for following.
